The US and other countries are opening their doors to thousands of refugees as they also try to get their own citizens out of Afghanistan. A British official says the situation at Kabul's main airport is stabilizing but commercial flights are still not available. The Philippine government is exploring all options to bring Filipinos home as they appeal for immediate repatriation.
