Sushmita Dev, who quit as the president of the Congress party's women's wing on Monday morning, joined the All India Trinamool Congress the same afternoon. Sushmita Dev had indicated her resignation from the party with a surprise change to her Twitter bio. Meanwhile, hearing a batch of petitions demanding an independent probe into the Pegasus issue on Monday, the Supreme Court said that the Centre can file a detailed affidavit into the matter if they want to.
