On the fifth day of the Lord's Test, it looked as if the Indian team would be all out after reaching a lead of 200 runs but for the team, fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami handled the innings with the bat instead of the ball this time and went for the 9th wicket. By the time it was lunch time, both the players had put together a partnership of 77 runs, after lunch, after the partnership between the two was 89, After batting, Shami and Bumrah gave Team India a great start in the bowling, Bumrah sent Rory Burns, while Shami sent Sibley back to the pavilion.



लॉर्ड्स टेस्ट के पांचवे दिन ऐसा लगा जैसे कि भारतीय टीम 200 रन की बढ़त के आस-पास पहुंचकर ऑल आउट हो जायेगी लेकिन टीम के लिये तेज गेंदबाज जसप्रीत बुमराह और मोहम्मद शमी ने इस बार गेंद के बजाय बल्ले से पारी को संभाला और 9वें विकेट के लिये लंच का समय होने तक दोनों खिलाड़ियों ने 77 रनों की साझेदारी कर ली थी, लंच के बाद दोनों के बीच पार्टनरशीप 89 रन की होने के बाद टीम इंडिया ने दूसरी पारी घोषित कर दी, बल्लेबाजी के बाद गेंदबाजी में शमी और बुमराह ने टीम इंडिया को शानदार शुरुआत दिलाई, बुमराह ने रोरी बर्न्स को वहीं शमी ने सिबली को वापस पवेलियन भेजा।
