Jaldhari Shivling dating back to the 9th to 10th centuries and idol of Lord Vishnu dating back to the 10th century were found in excavation work for the expansion of Mahakaleshwar temple complex in Ujjain. During the excavation, a Shivling was found on Tuesday and an idol of Lord Vishnu on Wednesday morning. The Shivling is being extracted under the supervision of experts of the Archaeological Department. The team of experts of the Archaeological Department has reached Ujjain on Wednesday morning.


भोले शंकर का प्रिय Sawan का महीना चल रहा है। इसी बीच एक शुभ समाचार मिला है। जो उनके भक्तों के चेहरे पर खुशियां ले आएगा। Ujjain के Mahakal मंदिर के समीप खुदाई में एक विशाल शिवलिंग (Shivling) मिला है. बताया जा रहा है कि ये शिवलिंग 9वीं सदी का हैं। यानि कि लगभग 1000 साल से भी ज्यादा पुराना शिवलिंग होगा ये। 2.6 फुट के शिवलिंग के साथ साथ विष्णु प्रतिमा और गुप्त कालीन ईंटें निकली हैं, जिसकी खूबसूरती देख हर कोई हैरान है.
