Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari is moving to the microblogging site's US operations close to two years after he was appointed as the managing director of Twitter India.
Maheshwari, who joined Twitter India in April 2009 will move to the US as Senior Director, Revenue Strategy and Operations.
The announcement comes amid the ongoing face-off between the Centre and social media companies on new information technology (IT) rules in India.
