Pune students develop India’s first driverless autonomous vehicle

Final year engineering students from MIT World Peace University, Pune designed India’s first driverless, autonomous, electric four-wheeler.

MAEER’S MIT Founder Trustee Prof. Prakash Joshi and Head of School of Mechanical Engineering of MIT World Peace University and project Guide Prof. Dr Ganesh M Kakandikar guided the students. "The driverless vehicle can travel for up to 40 km on a single charge and can be used in airports, golf clubs," said Professor Prakash Joshi, MIT-WPU.
