With Congress on the warpath alleging political vendetta after its official Twitter handle and that of several party leaders and workers were blocked, the social media giant has clarified that it took action based on an NCPCR complaint against posts that violated its rules. The NCPCR had filed a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for posting pictures of the family of a minor rape victim in a tweet. This tweet was later shared by the other Congress accounts which have been locked. Watch the video.
