The proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned indefinitely amid heavy uproar by the opposition. After the Lok Sabha meeting was adjourned indefinitely, the Congress launched a scathing attack on the Modi government. Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that the bill should be passed indiscriminately by ignoring the opposition's demand for discussion on many issues including Pegasus issue.

विपक्ष के भारी हंगामे के बीच Lok Sabha की कार्यवाही को अनिश्चितकाल तक के लिए स्थगित कर दी गई. लोकसभा की बैठक अनिश्चितकाल के लिए स्थगित होने के बाद Congress ने Modi government पर ताबड़तोड़ हमले किए. लोकसभा में कांग्रेस के नेता Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury ने कहा कि Pegasus मामला समेत कई मुद्दों पर चर्चा कराने की विपक्ष की मांग को अनसुना कर धड़ल्ले से विधेयक पारित कराये.
