India's medalists from the Tokyo Olympics were accorded a warm welcome on their arrival at the Delhi airport today. At Tokyo, India registered its best-ever performance in the Olympics with a total of seven medals. India's best at the Olympics before Tokyo was six medals at the 2012 London Games. Javelin star and gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, wrestlers Ravi Kumar Dahiya and Bajrang Punia, boxer Lovlina Borgohain and the men's hockey team received hero's welcome when they landed in India. During a conversation with AajTak, former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar got emotional over India's historic achievement in Tokyo.
