Tanveer Ahmed Khan, son of a farmer hailing from Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, has secured the second rank in the prestigious Indian Economic Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. With this achievement, he has become the first youth from Kashmir Valley to clear the Tanveer IES exam.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के कुलगाम जिले के रहने वाले एक किसान के बेटे तनवीर अहमद खान ने संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित प्रतिष्ठित भारतीय आर्थिक सेवा परीक्षा में दूसरा रैंक हासिल किया है. इस उपलब्धि के साथ वह तनवीर आईईएस परीक्षा पास करने वाले कश्मीर घाटी के पहले युवा बन गए हैं.
