Even though the speed of monsoon has been erratic in the plains in June-July, but in August it will rain with thunder and lightning. The Meteorological Department has issued this forecast. The department says that the plains of the northern parts of the country are expected to receive above normal rainfall during August-September.

भले ही जून-जुलाई में मानसून की रफ्तार मैदानी इलाकों में अनियमित रही हो, लेकिन अगस्त में बादल झूम के बरसेंगे. मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने ये पूर्वानुमान जारी किया है. विभाग का कहना है कि देश के उत्तरी हिस्सों के मैदानी इलाकों में अगस्त-सितंबर के दौरान सामान्य से अधिक बारिश होने का अनुमान है.
