Has herd immunity developed in India against Corona? It is said that if 60 to 70 percent of the population of a country gets corona infected, then that country will get herd immunity. How much population has been infected with coronavirus? One way to find out is- serosurvey and latest sero survey shows that antibodies against coronavirus are present in one-third of India's population. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released the results of the fourth serosurvey. A serosurvey of about 29 thousand people was conducted in 70 districts of 21 states of the country. This time children in the age group of 6 to 17 years were also included in the serosurvey. This was the fourth sero survey which has been done between 14 June and 16 July, in which 67.6 percent of people have been found with antibodies against corona. Watch this episode of Khabardar.
