A Delhi Police constable has been arrested for allegedly beating a man to death in the city.

The constable has been identified as Monu Sirohi and further investigation is underway, DCP East Priyanka Kashyap told India Today.

A video of the incident, which has now gone viral, showed the constable mercilessly thrashing the man as group of four people stood beside him. The cop, along with his suspected accomplices, then carried the body in a car and dumped it near a canal in Meerut.
