The Narendra Modi government at the Center is running many schemes to double the income of the farmers of the country, but whenever it comes to farmers and their loan waiver issue often arises. Now the same issue also arose in the Parliament and the question was asked to the government whether the central government is planning to waive off the loans of farmers? Responding in writing to this, Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad said in Parliament that at present, the government does not have the right to waive off farmers' loans.
