On the first day of Sawan festivities at the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain witnessed a stampede-like situation on Monday after thousands of devotees thronged to the shrine amid VIP visits. In a bid to catch the glance of the deity inside the temple, a huge crowd gathered where people were pushing each other to enter the historicial temple. The devotees which gathered in huge numbers broke the security cordon and Covid-19 protocols.

सावन महीने का पहला सोमवार कल यानी 26 जुलाई को था। इस दिन बड़ी संख्या में शिवभक्त भगवान शिव के दर्शन के लिए मंदिरों में पहुंचे। वहीं उज्जैन में विश्व प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिर्लिंग महाकाल के मंदिर में भी दर्शन के लिए हजारों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचे, लेकिन यहां जैसे ही मंदिर के कपाट खुले भगदड़ मच गई। इस भगदड़ का वीडियो भी सामने आया है। देखिए किस तरह से भीड़ बेकाबू होती है और भगदड़ मच जाती है।
