Covid-19: Record high of 207 fatalities, 14,516 new infections

A total of 207 fatalities were recorded on Monday (July 26), the highest since the pandemic began last year, taking the death toll to 8,201.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said a total of 14,516 new Covid-19 cases were reported nationwide, while record high of 1,009 patients were being treated at the ICUs with 524 requiring ventilator support.
