A terrifying landslide incident took place in Sangla, in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. At least 8 tourists are feared dead and four injured following the freak rockslide from the high mountains of Sangla valley. At the same time, there was devastation in Joshimath of Uttarakhand due to the cracking of the mountain, heavy debris accumulated in the tunnel of the NTPC hydroelectric project near Selang.
