The uproar over the Pegasus report continued in the Parliament on Friday. TMC MP Santanu Sen was suspended for the rest of the Monsoon Session after he snatched the papers from IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and tore them during a heated debate over the Pegasus row. Congress has demanded a Supreme Court-monitored judicial investigation in this case. Meanwhile, the Budget allocation for the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) increased 10 times from Rs 33.17 crores in 2016-17 to Rs 333.58 crores in 2017-18.
