Low blood platelets are common after any viral infection. In most cases, platelets return to normal levels on their own after recovering from the infection. However, this is not being seen with all the patients of Covid-19. In some corona patients, blood platelets are found to be low for several weeks after recovery.

किसी भी वायरल इंफेक्शन के बाद ब्लड प्लेटलेट्स का कम होना आम बात है. ज्यादातर मामलों में इंफेक्शन से ठीक होने के बाद प्लेटलेट्स खुद ही सामान्य स्तर पर आ जाते हैं. हालांकि Covid-19 के सारे मरीजों के साथ ऐसा नहीं देखा जा रहा है. कोरोना के कुछ मरीजों में रिकवरी के कई हफ्तों के बाद तक ब्लड प्लेटलेट्स कम पाए जा रहे हैं.
