The movement of trains on the Darbhanga-Samastipur down line in Bihar has been suspended for the past week due to the overflowing Burhi Gandak river. The water level in the river is well above the danger mark in many areas, building pressure on the railway bridge between Samastipur-Muktapur station falling under Samastipur Railway Division of East Central Railway.
