In video released by Northumbria Police following his sentence of 11 years and 10 months for the manslaughter of his dad, it captures his arrested at the family home in Deansfield Close, Doxford Park.
It shows how he tried to leave officers to get changed out of the bloodstained clothes worn as he launched the fatal blows which would lead to his dad’s death three weeks later.
He then becomes abusive and violent, leading police to restrain him before being led out of the home, decorated with Christmas lights, to a van in snowfall.
