The BJP has now hit out at the Congress with regard to the controversy over the population policy criticism. BJP leader and party's national general secretary said CT Ravi reminded the Congress of what they did during the emergency and infamous sterilisation drive. "Congress should remember what they did during 1975-77. They got people forcibly operated during the emergency. They had Sanjay and Indira Gandhi brigade. We have sought a discussion on this issue," Ravi said.
