Former Mumbai Police inspector Sachin Vaze told the Enforcement Directorate that the No.1 he referred to while extorting was in complete reference to former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, sources told India Today. 
Former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh had recently accused Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of extortion. In his letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Singh claimed that Deshmukh had directed suspended API Sachin Waze to collect Rs 100 crore every month from bars, restaurants, other establishments.
