Rainfall lashed parts of the national capital on Tuesday morning, bringing Delhiites a much needed reprieve from the scorching heat. Before the national capital witnessed heavy downpour, the MeT department said, "Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain and winds would occur over and adjoining areas of most places of Delhi, NCR ( Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Loni Dehat, Noida) Gohana, Sonipat, Rohtak (Haryana) Khekra (U.P .) during next 2 hours."
