Delhi High Court ने देश में Uniform Civil Code की जरूरत पर जोर दिया. तलाक के एक मामले में फैसला देते हुए कोर्ट ने देश में यूनिफार्म सिविल कोड की जरूरत बताई. कोर्ट ने कहा कि देश धर्म, जाति, कम्युनिटी से ऊपर उठ चुका है.जस्टिस प्रतिभा एम सिंह ने अपने फैसले में कहा कि आज का हिंदुस्तान धर्म, जाति, कम्युनिटी से ऊपर उठ चुका है.
