The Modi government has taken major decisions for the infrastructural development of foodgrains markets. These include the use of the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund for the development of markets and the less interest on loans. The use of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been extended to State Agencies, National and State Co-operative Federations, Agricultural Producer Associations, and Self Help Groups.
