Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away around 7:30 am on July 7 in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. The veteran actor was one of the greatest institutions of Hindi cinema. He bedazzled the audiences each time he appeared on screen in his near-six decade career. He worked in several films namely Daag, Mughal-e-Azam, Naya Daur, Madhumati, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam, Devdas, Shakti and many more. Many film personalities have extended their condolences. Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and many others shared heartfelt messages. Many celebs were spotted arriving at Dilip Kumar’s residence to pay their last respects. Senior actor Dharmendra was spotted at Dilip Kumar’s house. Shah Rukh Khan was seen arriving at the deceased actor’s residence. Vidya Balan and husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, Karan Johar, Anupam Kher & Shabana Azmi were also spotted. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray & NCP chief Sharad Pawar also visited Dilip Kumar’s residence. CM Thackeray had announced that Dilip Kumar will be honoured with a state funeral.
