The oath taking ceremony of new Cabinet Ministers was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 7. It is the first Cabinet expansion of the second term of Prime Miniter Narendra Modi-led Central government. Jyotiraditya Scindia took oath as a union minister in the Narendra Modi government at the swearing-in ceremony. Scindia played a key role in BJP's return to power in Madhya Pradesh last year after Congress ruled the state for 15-months. Former LJP leader Pashupati Kumar Paras was also included in the Union Cabinet. Former MoS G Kishan Reddy also sworn-in as new Union Minister. BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi and JDU MP Ramchandra Prasad Singh also took oath today.
