Former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonewal took oath as a cabinet minister during the swearing-in ceremony of the Modi govt. Sonowal had left the post of Chief Minister of Assam for Himanta Biswa Sharma. After which the party high command had promised to give him a place in the Union Cabinet. Watch video.
