Kripashankar Singh, who was a minister in the Congress government in Maharashtra, joined the BJP on Wednesday. Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and party state president Chandrakant Patil got Kripashankar Singh the membership of the party. Kripashankar Singh's coming to BJP is also considered important because BMC elections are to be held soon.
