A judicial inquiry has been started on the Rafale deal in France based on the claims of a publication named Mediapart. In the wake of this, the opposition JPC, including the Congress in India, has demanded a probe. Under the Rafale deal in 2016, the Indian Air Force is ready to become the first squadron of Rafale aircraft, but once again many opposition leaders including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi have raised the demand for a JPC inquiry into the Rafale deal.
