The Assam government has given a big gift to the policemen of the state. The Assam government has decided to give one month compulsory leave every year to the state's police personnel from constable to sub-inspector level to go to their homes. This decision has been taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday.

असम सरकार (Assam government) ने राज्य के पुलिसकर्मियों (Assam Police) को एक बड़ी सौगात दी है. असम सरकार ने राज्य के कांस्टेबल से लेकर उप निरीक्षक स्तर तक के पुलिसकर्मियों को हर साल अपने घर जाने के लिए एक महीने का अनिवार्य अवकाश (Assam Police Leave) देने का फैसला लिया है. मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्व सरमा की अध्यक्षता में बुधवार को हुई बैठक में ये निर्णय लिया गया है.
