India marks the fourth anniversary of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on Thursday. The date of July 1 has been designated by the central government as 'GST Day', observed every year to mark the roll-out of the historic tax reform. This year on GST day, the Union ministry of finance will issue certificates of appreciation to over 54,000 GST payers for timely filing of returns and a cash payment of the tax, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Wednesday.Watch video,

GST यानी Goods And Service Tax. यानी सरकार किसी भी चीज पर जो टैक्स लगाती है उसे GST कहते हैं. एक सुई से लेकर सोने तक और आपकी कमाई से लेकर खर्चे तक पर जीएसटी लगता है. पहले ये अलग-अलग टैक्सों के रूप में जाना जाता था. लेकिन चार पहले सरकार ने सभी टैक्सों को मिलाकर एक टैक्स बना दिया. जिसका नाम रखा गया जीएसटी.. आज इसी GST को लागू किए आज 4 साल पूरे हो गए हैं. जानिए क्या बढ़ी देश की कमाई ?
