Haveri has become the first district in Karnataka which has started the preparations to fight the possible third wave of Covid-19 which is to affect children mainly. As there have been no vaccinations for children so far, the district in-charge Basavraj Bommai has started a drive where every child belonging to the 0-18 years of age group will go through a health check-up.
