The election for the post of District Panchayat President in Uttar Pradesh is to be held on July 3. All political parties including BJP, SP have given full strength. But just before the elections, the RLD has suffered a major setback. RLD candidate from Baghpat Mamta Kishor has joined BJP along with her husband. Now there is no RLD candidate left in Baghpat.

उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh) में जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पद (District Panchayat President Post) के लिए 3 जुलाई को चुनाव होना है. बीजेपी (BJP), सपा समेत सभी सियासी दलों ने पूरी ताकत झोंक दी है. लेकिन चुनाव से ठीक पहले आरएलडी (RLD) को बड़ा झटका लगा है. बागपत से आरएलडी की प्रत्याशी ममता किशोर अपने पति के साथ बीजेपी में शामिल हो गई हैं. बागपत में अब आरएलडी का कोई प्रत्याशी नहीं बचा है.
