Australia’s top diplomat has described the Chinese Government as being “dogged by insecurity” and holding a deeply defensive mindset. In her final week as DFAT Secretary before becoming South Australia’s next Governor, Frances Adamson has addressed the poor relationship between Australia and its largest trading partner.
