Amid speculation over a leadership change in Karnataka, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's secretary and BJP MLA Renukacharya contacted around 50 MLAs and asked them to gather at his residence. However, the MLAs declined the offer and said they would not be a part of this show of strength. To address this dissent, the state BJP has formed a 15-member coordination committee that will allow the MLAs to raise their concern. Karnataka BJP in-charge Arun Singh will also arrive in Bengaluru for a three day visit.
