After almost a year since the fraud case, Bullet Raja was finally nabbed by vigilance sleuths. Pramod Rath, a junior accountant of the Block Education Office (BEO) of Bolangir was arrested by vigilance officials a year after his name cropped up in a fraud case of amounting to crores of rupees. At least 6 bullet motorcyles, one car and Rs. 8 lakh cash were seized by the vigilance sleuths from Rath’s house.

Pramod was allegedly involved in forgery of documents in the name of retired teachers and embezzling crores of rupees in their name. After preliminary investigation into the incident was carried out, the Block Education Officer (BEO) Richpal Sagar’s link had also surfaced.
