Health authorities say Melbourne's mystery Delta strain most probably came from a returned traveller and jumped Victorian hotel. Genomic sequencing has matched the variant to a man who flew into Melbourne a month ago but they're still trying to work out exactly how it was passed onto a west Melbourne family.
