India is witnessing a steady decline in new Covid cases in recent weeks. The country has reported 1,14,460 new COVID cases and 2,677 deaths in past 24 hours taking the toll to 3,46,759. 1,89,232 people have been recovered and discharged in the same duration as per the Health Ministry. With 14,77,799 active cases, the total COVID cases stood at 2,88,09,339 till date. As per Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as many as 36,47,46,522 samples have been tested in the country up to June 5. 20,36,311 samples were tested yesterday.
