Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Saturday announced the extension of lockdown by another week till June 14. The government, meanwhile, has lifted certain curbs on parts of the state that will get comparatively more relaxation in lockdown rules, including Chennai and districts in north and south Tamil Nadu. However, 11 districts in the west and delta region where the infection rate is high will be given less relaxation.
