Junior doctors continue their strike to demand an increase in their wages. Thousands of doctors  refused to end their strike even after the ultimatum exhorting them to resume duties, issued by the state’s high court, elapsed on Friday evening. 
The Medical Education Department has started preparations to recover the bond amount from the medical students who have handed in their resignations.
