A fresh political controversy has erupted between Centre and West Bengal over the transfer of Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay. Hours after Centre and CM Mamata Banerjee locked horns over a review meeting regarding cyclone Yaas, the Center issued an order for deputation to the Central Government of Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay and asked him to report to Delhi on 31 May.
