The Centre's new IT rules have triggered a debate over the citizen's right to privacy and the policies WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook. Earlier, Facebook-owned WhatsApp challenged the Centre in a plea filed before the Delhi High Court saying the new IT rules violate the right to privacy and are unconstitutional.
