On May 27th 1985, the Celtics beat the Lakers 148 - 114 in game 1 of the NBA Finals. Scott Wedman led the team by making all 11 shots that he took from the field. The 34 point differential set a new record for Finals games and the game was dubbed the Memorial Day Massacre.
