The cyclone Taukte and lackadaisical behavior took 86 lives of people. The tugboat Varaprada sank in the Arabian Sea and lead to the death of 11 of its 13 crew members. As of only 188 among 274 people on board the boat were rescued. No distress signal was given until 5 pm on May 17. A video just before the tragedy took place is being viral.
