Ahead of Cyclone Yaas, people were evacuated to shelter homes in Odisha's Basudebpur on May 25. Around 300-400 people have been shifted in the centre. “Some 300-400 people have been shifted here with food and other facilities arranged by the district administration,” a local told ANI.
