The severe cyclonic storm ‘Yaas’ over Bay of Bengal is set to intensify into a ‘very severe cyclonic storm’ by the evening of May 25th. As per the information provided by the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘Yaas’ over East Central Bay of Bengal moved North-Northwestwards with a speed of about 10 kilometres per hour, in the past 6 hours.
