International bodies demand vaccine equity, as divide between rich and poor nations increases

WHO chief Dr Matshidiso Moeti says an average of 2% of Africans have recieved a Covid dose whilst some rich countries are ready to "hit the reset button" this summer, as WTO chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala meets EU officials in Brussels to push for improved access for poorer countries to Covid-19 vaccine supplies.
