Padma Shri awardee and former national president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr KK Aggarwal passed away after a long battle with Covid-19. Dr KK Aggarwal passed away at 11.30 pm on Monday at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

Dr KK Aggarwal was admitted to AIIMS for the past few days and was on ventilator support. A statement posted on his Twitter profile said that Dr KK Aggarwal succumbed after a lengthy battle with Covid-19.
